Tominique,
What a well written and captivating article! I really thought I was reading an article by a major sports columnist. You kept my interest and had me wanting for more. You have a great gift for writing and story telling. The flow of the article was smooth and deliberate. You are really on a "roll".

Breiten,
I enjoyed reading your article and agree with you that appropiate dress is a requirement especially in the business climate.
I have been in the business world and would have liked for you to explain to your audience what, "dressed as business people would ", is.
In the IT field "everyone" wears jeans, sandals, button collar shirts, maybe a sport coat, and sneakers. Most of these people make over $50,000 a year and the mangers make at least six figures.
There are reasons why different business carrer fields have differing styles of dress. It would behoove you to research these differing styles and relay that to your fellow seniors. Being prepared for your future job is a plan that works.

Way to go Wayman!
Such insight from a young man.
Now, lets get to our math. The U.S. Census states there are approximately 118,000,000 families and couples in our country and at $2.5 million per family that would be $295,000,000,000,000.The banks stole "only" another $750,000,000,000.
Wayman, I agree, the money should have gone to the populace, we would have stimulated the economy with the money better than any bailout, but that will never happen. I'm still waiting on my forty acres and a mule.

Horatio,
I really enjoyed your open letter to the President, but I see you missed his most important message about change and how we can accomplish this task.
Change must start with individuals such as yourself, in the environment and community in which we live, work, and play.
Mr. Obama's main thrust in running for president came from his community service activism. We all know what is wrong in our communities so having meetings to rehash what we already know is a wastefull use of time, energy, and enthusiasm. We must all stand firm in what we know is right, good, and practice what we preach. We must take one step at a time and evaluate our steps to make sure this is where we want to be. In life we must walk the way we talk.

I must strongely disagree with Mr. Hammonds assessment of dressing for the mood.
How we see ourselves is the most critical part of our development and is under constant scrutiny by ourselves and others.
I'll ask these question; On the weekend while at home do you have on your best or the most comfortable? Did your mood(feeling, emotions...) reflect how you dressed for the time? Do we dress different at home, work, and play? What moods are you in while doing these different activities.
I don't want to make a debate of this but your mood and dress works just like the sun and flowers. The sun dresses the flowers to enhance and reflect the mood and we do the same.

T--you do a really great job of what I call "stringing together" quotes. When you write in college--in whatever class on whatever topic, I encourage you to go out and find "research" and write just the way you have: taking all the ideas you have found and weaving them into a message you want to convey. Keep it up!

Very informative article. Many people know nothing about impeachment, and I think you did a great job researching the details behind the articles of impeachment. Way to tackle a little-known political topic during the election season!
